Gigabyte is known for its motherboards and graphic cards but apart from these products, the company has a made its entry in other segments too like the ultra compact PC market. A few days back, the company announced the refreshed version of its GIGABYTE BRIX Ultra Compact PC lineup featuring four new models, all running on the latest fourth generation Haswell processors.

These Brix compact PCs are extremely customizable and hence, you can play around with its processor, SSD or RAM to get the desired performance. Measuring only 29.9mm x 107.6mm x 114.4 mm, the Brix PC can be used as your desktop system at your home or even at your office. The device is extremely sturdy as it is made up of anthracite aluminum frame and has a glossy finish too.

You just have to fit in a SO-DIMM memory and a mSATA SSD and your desktop is good to go. This is because, all other requirements are fulfilled by the device itself, with inbuilt motherboard, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 4.0 module, VESA mounting bracket and power adapter. You get two USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI as well as a miniDisplay port. The good news is, the HDMI port supports native 4k resolution, so you can fix in your 4k TV via this HDMI port.

As for the price, the company does not give us any particular figure. Gigabyte only states that the Brix Ultra Compact Pc will be available over varying price points.
